Digital narrative Reflection
Reflection
While I was creating the traditional narrative "the cure that got all sick" it take me a long time deciding what I was going to do, choosing all topics and the most important thing, the title, but this took me a lot of time and I did a serious of steps to do all in a organized way. The first step was brain storming ideas, topics, names for some characters and making the plot creating the beginning, the conflict and the resolution, then I started writing the story putting together all my ideas and creating the characters. When I was done writing the story I started correcting it, and I make some of my peers help me edit my story as I help them doing corrections and making some questions so they can make the story better so it make more sense. Then after correcting the story I started typing it and finally finishing my story and handing it in to my teacher. In my case the story is a sci-fi story so it is a very complicated one, "The cure that got all sick" is about a cure that finish creating vampires a very rare human race that started as a problem but at the end everything finish good with no problem between humans and vampires, while I was creating the story I decided I was going to include a love story and that was the most complicated part for me because I needed to connect it with the hole story.
I also created a digital narrative for "the cure that got all sick" and this was a little bit more complicated than the traditional narrative. For this I needed to decide what I was going to do whether a normal video or a stop motion, first look for an application that I could work on, then learn how to use it and start making it. In my digital narrative I needed to record my voice narrating and background music, the best part of creating the video. I used stop motion and making each drawing was the most difficult and long part, then putting everything together and searching for background music.
Creating this two different narratives the traditional and the digital narrative have its similarities and its differences. Some similarities are for example that in both you need to do brain storming, and in the traditional you have to do a plot and in the digital you need to do a storyboard which is kind of the same thing. The differences where a lot more than the similarities creating this narratives, for example in the digital narrative they were much more steps and a larger process to do, like choosing an app to work on, learning how to use it, needing to record your voice and searching for background music to make it better. Definitely creating the digital narrative was longer but better than creating the traditional narrative.
When I was working on my traditional narrative I think the most difficult part for me was brainstorming ideas to write about and then bringing them together so the story make sense, other very difficult part about writing the story was choosing the title, because it definitely need to be very good and need to intrigue and attract the reader but at the end as you all know I decided to name my story "the cure that got all sick". The better and most interesting part was being able to choose the topic that I prefer and that I like the most, an other one was that even tough it was difficult was creating and finding the sci-fi elements for the story. For the digital narrative my difficulties where finding an application that works for making my video and learning how to use it, also connecting all scenes in a way they make sense. The better part was creating my characters the way I wanted to look fiscally, finding background music for the video and editing it.
To conclude writing a narrative no matter whether it is traditional or digital it's very difficult and have a long process but you can also enjoy while you are writing it and this way it will be easier for you to write it. This two narratives the traditional and the digital are very different but both share some characteristics that make this processes similar and good things to do.

Poem: i don't love him that much
Artist Statement :
When they told me i needed to do a poem i immediately knew the topic was going to write about it, love. I don't why but when it is about writing I always choose love as the topic, like if it is was like i have more inspiration that came of me when talking about it or it is simply a good topic. For me this topic is a very good one and it means a lot to me, i considere love one of the most important emotions on life, everyone had feel it or at some point is going to, and believe me is a very good one. i think the reader before reading my poem should understand love in its simple way, anything about me or what is the poem about because it is easy to understand while reading and it explains the story very well. my poem is called "i don't love him that much" i put this title because it is a story that a girl tells about this amazing boy and her insecurity about love and how she felt with him, and at the end she realize she don't love him that much, i also write this poem about this topic because the major of persons pass through that feeling all the time and i just wanted to show that to everyone. To conclude i found this topic very good for people, mostly for teenagers that are starting to lean and pass through the stage of love and this way they can realize they are not the only ones that pass through that.
Poem: I don't love him that much
I am in love with this amazing guy. (a)
When i think about him all my world fall. (b)
His eyes are as blue as the upper sky, (a)
I love everything about him just all. (b)
I love his mouth his years and his tall height (c)
I can't resist him, he is simply perfect, (d)
his hair is as yellow as the sunlight, (c)
and his lips are a pure color, like red. (d)
But I'm not sure how much i love Luis, (e)
Maybe too much or maybe not a bit, (f)
I really feel i don't know what love is (e)
I am so insecure i must talk about it (f)
I don't know want to hurt him or break his heart (g)
cause i seem to be an expert in that. (g)
