Ray Bradbury The Velt is about how technology can affect and change society and a family . This story have a lot of sci-fi Elements, the fist element is the entire house, which is the one who do everything in the story, it cooks, it shower the kids and do all parenting to the kids since the parents are never at home and they don't care about their child's, "the house was completely computerized, they are machines to fry eggs, generate food and even bath the children" . An other very important sci-fi element in the story is the nursery, the nursery is very important in this story because it shows and reflects how the kids think and their imagination, and how technology affect all the family. A good example is when the characters say "I wish I could look at the nursery in this moment", this quote shows us that the nursery is very good and important for the kids, and that they are very dependent to it. Ray Bradbury also uses different narrative techniques while writing the story, he uses dialogues and Descriptions and smilies. The dialogue between characters is very effective and important in the story because it makes it easier for the reader to understand the story and know the characters better, "let's get out this sun, this is a little to real." For example this quote help us to know how the kids think and talk to each other, this helping us to know them better. The other narrative technique is descriptions and using smilies, this is very effective because using similes it is easier to the reader to understand assimilating it to other things, and good descriptions can make a better image of things "they walked down the soundproof very happy" with this quote we can see they are happy and it is a very good description because it show the emotions.
To conclude the Velt is a very good story that talks about technology and all its perks. This story contains a lot of sci-fi elements like advanced technology, and it includes very good narrative techniques that help us to understand better the story.
